The La Martiniere Calcutta Schools collaborate to host the annual Model UN conference on their campus each year. LMCMUN 2009, the summit of cooperation and diplomacy, was the first conference of its type to take place in eastern India. It gave national and international schools a forum for self-expression, and it hasn't looked back since. LMCMUN is now the biggest and most esteemed conference in Eastern India, having reached unprecedented heights since its founding.

 

The committees simulated at LMCMUN are chosen with the intention of maintaining the traditional aspect of Model United Nations while educating the delegates and providing them with an opportunity to express themselves in committees of their choice. Engaging debate, quality paperwork and exemplary diplomacy have been the cornerstones of the conference over the years, wherein delegates deliberate on matters of global significance and hone their problem-solving capabilities and gain an insight into the nuances of the seemingly complex world of geopolitics.

 

Now, LMCMUN is back with its 13th Edition, which is bound to be the grandest.
